This project utilized a 500-ton plate-and-frame heat exchanger to “load test” the building’s chillers and boilers. By accessing system piping on the second floor and running temporary fire hose connections, we created a closed loop heat transfer between heating and cooling systems. This approach allowed all equipment to be tested successfully at 100% load, confirming proper operation.
